How do I start the process of getting custom furniture?
We like to start by getting you an individual estimate for each piece or pieces of furniture you are interested in. You can do this by filling out the estimate form here.
How long does it take to get an estimate?
After you submit the form, the process can take 2-5 days as we take that time to check with our manufacturer on current pricing, availabilities, etc. We will get back to you as soon as possible. If you approve the estimate we then we will set up a time for a consultation at Kristine's studio in Herriman.
What do I do after I get my estimate?
Following the estimate, please text Kristine (801-500-2900) to set up a consultation appointment at her home studio in Herriman. There, you can try out various furniture pieces and explore stunning
fabric and fill options.

Our studio is located in Kristine's home in Herriman, Utah. Get the address here.
How does the process work for out of state clients?
For my out of state clients, after providing an estimate, we will arrange a phone consultation. During this time, we can review fabric options over FaceTime and then send fabric samples directly to your home.
Do I need to put a deposit down on my project?
We require a 60% deposit in order to place your order with my manufacturer.
Do you make furniture for clients outside the state of Utah?
We have served clients from Colorado, Idaho, Montana and Wyoming who pick up their furniture in Utah, however we do not arrange delivery outside of the state of Utah. We are usually able to give a 1-2 week notification of arrival. The furniture ships to our showroom in Herriman, Utah.

How long does a consultation usually take?
A typical consultation takes about an hour unless we are doing multiple rooms of furniture.
How do I set up a consultation?
Once you have received an estimate, if you would like to move forward I will email or text you my schedule and the open spots I have available.
How soon can I book a consultation?
We are usually booked out about 1 week.
How many ways can my furniture actually be customized?
The sizes listed in the catalog are base sizes. Width and depth can be changed to the inch. Any of the following options can also be changed: legs style, the number of cushions or the size of your cushions are customizable. Nailheads can be added or taken off. Piping can also be added or removed. There are hundreds of fabric and leather options to choose from. It is such a fun process to design your own furniture from scratch. We will review all of these options with you when you come for a consultation at the Couches by Kristine Studio.

Where do you ship to?
We currently only ship inside the state of Utah.
Outside of Utah, we may be able to deliver to Southern California or Las Vegas Nevada.

May I pick my furniture up in Herriman to avoid a delivery fee?
Yes, you may choose to pick up your furniture at our showroom in Herriman, Utah. However, please note that we cannot store it for longer than 3-4 days as we have too much furniture arriving on a regular basis.
How long does it take to get my furniture once we've placed the order?
Our average lead time changes based on volume. It is currently 9-10 weeks from the time the order goes in.
PAYMENT, RETURNS, AND WARRANTIES

What are my payment options?
We take Zelle, check, cash, or card. Card payments, either debit or credit will be charged a 3% use fee.

Do you require a deposit?
We require a 60% deposit in order to place your order with my manufacturer.
When do I need to pay the full invoice?
We require a 60% deposit in order to place your order with my manufacturer. The invoice balance is usually due within 4-5 weeks. Your invoice must be paid in full before the custom pieces leave the manufacturer.
RETURNS
Due to the custom nature of the furniture it is not eligible for return.
WARRANTY
The hardwood frame is warrantied for 5 years. The foam or fill is warrantied for 1 year. The fabric is warrantied for 1 year through the fabric companies on a case by case basis to ensure that there has not been customer neglect.
